The guide is a monthly listing of opportunities relevant to our region’s arts sector including grants, events and professional development opportunities. It highlights what local creatives are involved in, their events in addition to funding rounds. Sign up to receive the monthly eNews on the first Thursday of every month and it will also be published on the SCCA website.

Please ensure that submissions include a concise sentence (max 50 words), along with details and a high-quality image (at least 1MB). Please also include image credits where necessary.

To enable us to promote your event or opportunity in The Guide we need you to supply by the last Thursday of each month (one week prior to publication):

• 50 words promoting your event that includes timing, location and cost. SCCA will do minimal editing.

• One landscape image 72dpi (with image credit)

• Link to more information and/or booking platform.

You need to supply all required materials by the last Thursday of the month prior to publication.

SCCA uses the following criteria in making its selection of content for The Guide. Your event or opportunity needs to meet one or more criteria to be considered:

• The event or opportunity is relevant to professional creatives and artworkers living on the Sunshine Coast

• The event or opportunity supports creatives’ professional development

• The event or opportunity has local professional artists at its core

• The event or opportunity inspires the development of the Sunshine Coast creative sector.

There is limited space and thus selection will include a diversity of opportunities.
