Come and meet 11 creative entrepreneurs as they unveil their creative businesses and celebrate the culmination of their journey through R|6.0 creative business incubator program. The cohort work across interior design, fashion, visual art and performance, and are committed to shaping the Coast’s creative landscape. This event brings together the region’s arts and cultural industry and is your chance to get to know the next wave of creative leaders.
With a special address by Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Rosanna Natoli.
Hosted by comedian and all-round joy generator Jenny Wynter.
Become a Peer Assessor for Creative Australia
Applications close 6 August
Creative Australia is now accepting applications for people to join their Pool of Peers for a three year term starting January 2025. A peer assessor is anyone who has sufficient knowledge or experience of the arts sector to make a fair and informed assessment of applications for funding. You may have developed this knowledge and experience as a practising artist, creative worker or industry expert in one or more art forms.

Red Chair is seeking expressions of interest from established artists in the Caloundra area for The Keeper Project in 2025. An information session will be held at Sub Tropic Studio on 7 August. Applications close 16 August.
Dancing With Words
This workshop series by DIVE Theatre offers hands-on practice of creative writing, focusing on the contemporary stage and an in-depth exploration of sounds, words, sentences and texts in English and other languages.
Creative Consultations with Aven Noah Jr - Flying Arts Alliance
Spend 45 minutes online with Aven Noah Jr, the Curator of Northsite Contemporary Arts. This online consultation is an opportunity to discuss and receive professional feedback on your artworks and arts practice.
Head On Photo Awards 2024
The Head On Photo Awards represent a global selection of the best work from emerging and established photographers across three categories: Portrait, Landscape, and Exposure (new). The prize is open internationally to photographers of all levels.
