Creative Writing with the Community, 2017...
The university of the Sunshine Coast is pleased to announce that Dr Eileen Herbert-Goodall will soon be running a creative writing course open to members of the public. The course begins on July 27 and will run from 6 pm - 8 pm for 8 weeks. The course is part of the university's continuing education program. Participants will be invited to submit a piece of short prose or memoir for publication in an electronic anthology. Eileen is a published author and award-winning short story writer. The Travelling Film Festival, the regional tour of the Sydney Film Festival, is heading to Nambour for the very first time, bringing seven local and international award-winning films - six features and one documentary.
Introducing: arts-insitu, the new arts program for the NOOSA alive! Festival.
arts-insitu is a series of pop-up, live street-art happenings in and around Noosa throughout the NOOSA alive! festival, where local street artists will createen plein air works inspired by Noosa’s urban, natural and submerged environments.

Rust & Lace' by Nathalie Bastier
Art on Cairncross presents "Rust & Lace", an exhibition of wall-hanging assemblages by Nathalie Bastier. Predominantly pieces of rusted metal are combined and contrasted with delicate lace or other old items to create artworks of social commentary, balance and new beauty. There is humour and much to discover in each work.

27 Singer-Songwriters contributed Songs from around the world for Sing for Change. Some of those artists are going to perform at the Artisan Market in Maleny in a fundraiser for the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.
