This Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance initiative Writing for Theatre is designed to meet the demand for greater career development of playwrights on the Sunshine Coast, by providing 10-12 participants Online Playwriting Conversations with Maxine Mellor, a playwright in residence with Playlab Theatre.The Online Playwriting Conversations are scheduled fortnightly between June and November 2020 from 10am-12pm on Saturdays: 6 June, 20 June, 4 July, 18 July, 1 August, 15 August, 29 August, 12 September, 26 September, 10 October, 24 October, 7 November.While we are in a time of health and economic crisis we still have our inherent creativity to draw on, and by exercising it we sustain ourselves and our sector.Writing for Theatre is supported by RADF funding and delivered in partnership with Sunshine Coast Theatre Alliance, Playlab Theatre, and the University of the Sunshine Coast.Congratulations to our successful applicants:
