The Sherbrooke Brothers is Out!

While I have been quite widely published in the area of non-fiction and short fiction,The Sherbrooke Brothers(illustrated by Aaron Pearson) is my first published novella (or small novel). When I received an offer of publication for this particular piece in mid 2016, I had already written around five books, all of which had been rejected. This process of 'rejection' spanned around twenty years, and I can tell you, there were times when I definitely thought about giving up. Interestingly, I also received countless rejections forThe Sherbrooke Brothers from other publishers but continued to send the manuscript out far and wide. Now, after years of perseverance, my dream has come true and my book is out there!The moral of the story (no pun intended) is that if you wish to be published, you must be absolutely dogged about reaching your goals. Do whatever you can to help make your dream of achieving publication come true: participate in writing courses, hire someone to critique/edit our work, get writing friends to read your work and provide a little feedback, study the work of other successful authors...and write, write, write.As a side note, I'd like to mention that the publisher with whom I worked, Moonshine Cove Publishing in the United States, publishes writers at all stages of their careers. However, this firm is particularly on the look-out for emerging writers striving to have their first major work picked up.
