Maija Isola: Master of Colour and Form

We’ve teamed up with Sunshine Coast Film Festival to present Maija Isola - Master of Colour and Form as part of the Better World Film and Design Festival.

The film looks at the career and practice of Finish artist and textile designer Maija Isola, creator of Marimekko’s most iconic prints. Tracing Isola’s eventful life, the film goes in search of the places and experiences that inspired her and her drive for artistic freedom.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A between the film’s Producer Essi Haukkamaa and SCCA Vice-President Megan Williams.
