This month we will be hearing from Shaye Hardisty and Ketakii Jewson-Brown the studio will be energised and colourful as we hear about the speakers creative journeys.
We have the brilliant Slide Coffee on board to make us delicious free coffees on the day!
About our speakers:
Shaye is a Sewing artist. She loves the rebellion of creating one’s own clothing and exploring the boundaries between wearable clothes and art. Based in Nambour, she also teaches sewing classes through her business, Little House Seamstress.
Ketakii is a fine art photographer who loves taking photos of people naked in nature in the hope to showcase all types of bodies.
Her fine art images enhance spaces and inspires lives.
The works evoke our innate playful and sensual natures as humans and help to highlight the magic in people and places around us whilst celebrating and capturing the beauty of all types of bodies and challenging our ideas around normal and mainstream beauty.
