Creative Connectors EOI - we are looking for aspiring and inspiring Sunshine Coast arts activators and leaders!
Are you a well-connected Sunshine Coast creative who is passionate about the value of the arts, creative enterprise and want to promote the creative potential of our region?
Could you host a small networking gathering via artform or geographic area twice a year and attend two meetings with other creative connectors?
Then please read on!
The Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance has identified the need to build a team of Creative Connectors; musicians, artists, designers, actors, arts administrators, arts producers and creative entrepreneurs who are arts activators and advocates, who wish to meet with other creatives and be ‘connectors’ for our creative community. This is particularly so during COVID 19 times when large gatherings and networking events such as our ‘Juice & Jam breakfasts’ are currently not feasible.
We invite applications from energetic people who are well networked and have a love of arts and creativity to apply to be a Creative Connector. We are looking for a range of people across artforms, geographic parts of the region and diverse backgrounds. We are looking for people who would be interested in attending quarterly cross-sectoral meet ups, and hosting at least one networking gathering for their own.
As a Creative Connector you will:

Be happy to share and cultivate industry knowledge and connections;

Have 2-4 hours per quarter to contribute to/or host to creative discussions and networking

Be willing to host one or two small networking gatherings a year with support and some seed funds to be provided

Be involved in networking and arts leadership forums for our regions.
