The doctors, nurses and staff were nearly all women. They included Australian and New Zealand women doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers who went to war unsupported by their own governments. The war they're fought was against oppression of all types. They had something to prove.The musical tells this story with passion, freedom and power and great music.
